 we have been learning about the Communion of saints.

My favourite saint is st Francis of Assisi because he loves animals like me.

What is a saint

A saint is a is someone who believed in God as long as they lived 

Early life 

St Francis was a soldier in the war.he was imprisoned for 1 year. And was released. 

What was he was like as a saint 

During his life he also had a deep love of animals and nature. Each October animals are blessed on his feast day.

He became a saint on july 16th 1228.

St. Francis is like me because I love animals so much

 We have been learning about the country of Tonga. We have learnt they have a traditional dance and a traditional art called Ngatu. My favourite  part was singing Ana latu to the school. 

When we went to school we dressed up as your favourite country. I dressed up us a silver fern (a netball player). On Tuesday morning we did a mihi whakatu to welcome  the new entrants class
